We’re looking for an experienced Disaster Recovery Project Manager to join an Insurance business on a contract basis, one day per week on-site in Milton Keynes. You’ll take ownership of the DR programme – from planning and testing through to stakeholder reporting – ensuring business continuity posture remains robust and audit-ready.

• Lead and coordinate disaster recovery planning, testing, and exercises
• Maintain and improve DR documentation and runbooks
• Manage risk and issue logs and report progress to senior stakeholders
• Ensure regulatory and compliance alignment
• Coordinate cross-functional teams during DR events and incidents

• Proven DR/BCP project management background
• Experience in insurance or financial services (highly desirable)
• Familiarity with ISO 22301 or equivalent frameworks
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to operate independently and hit the ground running

This is an outside IR35 engagement at approximately £500 per day. Candidates must be able to attend the Milton Keynes office one day per week. Insurance sector experience is desirable but not essential.
