IT Administrator

Join a leading independent technology and services provider as an Administrator!
Job Overview:

Team is responsible for end-to-end software packaging, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management across the client UK estate. The candidate will have excellent knowledge and practical experience working within a busy IT team and be able to show experience with packaging and software distribution of applications.

Rate £17.50/Hr through UMB
Location Milton Keynes/ Leicester
Contract 3-month contract
Timings:
Monday - Friday working hours 9:00 AM - 05:30 PM

Job Description:

  • Manage Intune application assignments across the client UK estate, deploying updates via controlled change processes
  • Assisting in resolution of software packaging or deployment issues that affect end-user productivity, root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive measures.
  • Maintaining standards for both packaging and deployment of applications, including naming conventions, version control
  • Skills
  • Experience with InTune and MECM, ensuring timely and accurate deployment of applications, updates, and patches across all end-user devices.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows Installer logs, dependency conflicts, and failed deployments
  • Highly analytical with a strong troubleshooting mindset, able to problem solve either by structured analysis or wider discussion with peers including cross-functional teams.
  • Power Shell scripting skills, advanced understanding of MSI packaging tools
  • Knowledge of Azure AD and conditional access for modern device management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; team player; ability to be self-motivated to work unsupervised defining own tasks and goals to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Proficiency in packaging applications for remote deployment, including custom actions and scripts
  • Ability to learn new skills and embrace and adapt to new challenges and opportunities
  • Additional Information Interview Process:
