This is a full-time hybrid role, where you would be required to work form our head office based in Milton Keynes a minimum of two days a week in the office.

We have an opportunity for a Local Technical Applications Manager waiting just for you. Reporting into the Head of IT, you will ensure the stable, secure, and compliant operation of HQ-provided applications within the local market. The role serves as the primary technical contact for HQ apps, coordinates with HQ IT, vendors, and the IT Domain Specialist, maintains documentation, and ensures applications meet local business and regulatory requirements.

  • Act as the local key technical contact for HQ applications within your responsibility.
  • Represent the local market in discussions with HQ regarding IT applications.
  • Ensure reliable, secure, and compliant operation of HQ applications in accordance with local regulations.
  • Collaborate with HQ IT, local business teams, and the IT Domain Specialist to align application functionality with market needs.
  • Maintain accurate, complete documentation to support local IT teams and end users.
  • Escalate critical technical and access issues to HQ IT or vendors, seeking input from the IT Domain Specialist and TAM for Local Apps as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement in support processes and application performance.
About you

We are looking for a highly motivated IT professional with a strong understanding of technical application management and the integration of global (HQ) applications into local IT environments. The successful candidate will have knowledge of IT security, compliance, and data protection requirements, along with experience working collaboratively with HQ IT teams, external vendors, and cross-functional business stakeholders. You will be responsible for maintaining clear technical documentation and user support materials, while demonstrating excellent analytical, coordination, and escalation management skills.

Experience in application performance monitoring, issue resolution, and driving continuous improvement initiatives will be essential to ensure applications remain secure, reliable, and aligned with business needs.
