Systems Analyst, IT Consultant, Technical Support, IT Business Analyst
Madison is the UK’s leading distributor for premium bicycles, clothing, parts and accessories. Based in Milton Keynes, home to the biggest brands in cycling.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the continued smooth running of WMS and business systems liaising with relevant departments to implement and improve business processes.
- Engage with Operations Team to assess requirements/improve productivity.
- Test and implement new processes and interfaces with 3rd parties, such as carrier systems.
- Manage system updates/upgrades.
- Document processes and create user guides where needed.
- Communicate with WMS users to determine workable and supportable solutions.
- Assist the wider systems team in supporting other business system applications.
- Train users on business processes.
NB this role requires occasional out of hours work, for support purposes and system changes.
Essential skills and experience- Experience of WMS or ERP systems.
- Experience of warehouse operations.
- Experience of providing customer service.
- ODBC reporting, within Excel.
- Experience of warehouse automation.
- Experience of Red Prairie/Blue Yonder dispatcher WMS.
- Powershell or other scripting language.
This is a service role and you’ll have excellent communication skills, with good written and spoken English.
