We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Mainframe environments, DB2 databases, and migration processes
.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the banking industry
, preferably working with Santander
, and will be comfortable collaborating with both business and technical teams in an international environment.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
  .
• Participate in data migration projects
  , ensuring data integrity, consistency, and alignment with business needs.
• Analyze existing Mainframe and DB2 systems
  , identifying dependencies and migration requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define data mapping, transformation rules, and migration strategies
  .
• Support testing activities, including data validation, reconciliation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify potential risks, issues, and improvements throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers
  .
• Prepare functional documentation and monitor project deliverables.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the banking or financial services sector
  .
• Strong knowledge of Mainframe environments and DB2 databases
  .
• Previous experience participating in data migration or system migration projects
  .
• Experience in functional analysis, requirements gathering, and process documentation
  .
• Understanding of data mapping, validation, and reconciliation processes
  .
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English.

• Knowledge of legacy banking systems and modernization initiatives
  .
• Familiarity with SQL, data analysis, and testing methodologies
  .
• Proactive mindset and continuous improvement orientation.
• Strong teamwork, empathy, and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and a client-focused approach.
• Fluent Spanish.
• Experience in the banking/financial sector.
