About the role
If you are a driven Commercial Property Solicitor looking to accelerate your career within a thriving Real Estate team, this could be the ideal opportunity.
Working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers, you will manage a varied caseload while supporting high-quality client relationships. The team is known for its supportive, open-door culture and offers strong exposure to complex transactions, providing an excellent platform for continued professional development.
Below are some of the day-to-day responsibilities:
- Managing your own caseload of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion.
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of legal documentation including leases, deeds of variation, licences to occupy, agreements for lease, assignments, easements, and freehold acquisitions.
- Advising clients on landlord and tenant matters, lease renewals, and property finance transactions.
- Investigating registered and unregistered titles, raising requisitions, and advising on risks and potential remedies where title defects arise.
- Handling completions and overseeing post-completion matters including SDLT submissions and HM Land Registry applications.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, surveyors, and third-party lawyers.
- Providing clear, commercially focused legal advice within agreed timelines.
- Supporting project work and collaborating with colleagues to ensure transactions progress efficiently.
- Participating in client meetings, training sessions, and marketing initiatives where appropriate.
- Contributing to business development activity and promoting the wider services of the firm.
What We're Looking For:
- 1+ years PQE with solid experience within Commercial Property.
- Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant law, leases, and general real estate transactions.
- Confidence managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
- Commercially minded with a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communicator, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
