Position: Parcel Sorter — Evening/Weekend Shifts + Overtime

Job : 340344

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 30 hours [[zworkinghours and days]], with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday to Friday 3pm - 8pm, Saturday 6am - 11am

Location: Parcel force Worldwide, Milton Keynes, MK15 8HG

Salary
  • Starting salary: £25,201 per year (£12.71 per hour)
  • After 6 months: £27,561 per year (£13.94 per hour)
  • Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
  • Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
  • Paid weekday and weekend overtime
  • Monthly Non-Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)

Responsibilities
  • Unloading / Loading parcels
  • Sorting parcels to correct delivery route / preparing trailer ready for the drivers / onward transport
  • Providing a friendly, dependable service - whether it's a birthday gift or important business mail
Qualifications
  • Full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to current address, with no more than 6 points
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
  • Friendly, dependable, and customer focused
  • Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
