Public Sector Procurement Consultant – Salary £50,000 – £70,000 + Benefits – Milton Keynes / London (Hybrid)
We are partnering with a nationally recognised public sector infrastructure organisation
, backed by a government-approved, multi-billion-pound investment programme running through to 2029, to appoint multiple Procurement Consultants across entry to mid-senior level.
You will join a high-performing Commercial & Procurement team operating at genuine scale – leading complex, over-threshold sourcing projects across a diverse portfolio spanning FM, IT, HR, Professional Services and Consultancy.
Public sector procurement experience is essential.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading end-to-end, over-threshold sourcing projects within a regulated procurement environment
- Developing and delivering sourcing strategies and full tender documentation
- Conducting pre-market engagement and managing complex commercial evaluations
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers and driving demonstrable savings delivery
- Partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple internal functions
- Contributing to category strategy development and continuous improvement
What They’re Looking For
- Public sector procurement experience – this is essential
- Recent, demonstrable over-threshold tendering experience outside of a framework – essential at senior level
- Strong working knowledge of regulated procurement – PCR 2015 / Procurement Act 2023
- Proven negotiation and stakeholder management capability
- Experience with in a reclassified or regulated procurement environment is highly desirable
- Right to work in the UK – mandatory
