Procurement Officer

Procurement Officer Permanent | Office-based | £30,000–£40,000 DOE We are looking for a dynamic, commercially minded Procurement Officer to take ownership of a stand-alone purchasing role. With approximately 90% of their products sourced from their parent company in Italy, this role requires an experienced professional with strong negotiation skills, excellent communication and the confidence to manage supplier relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day purchasing, purchase orders and stock replenishment. Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules to achieve best value. Build and maintain strong relationships with Italian parent company and other suppliers. Monitor orders and deliveries, resolving any supply or quality issues. Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing efficiency. Maintain accurate procurement records and liaise with finance, warehouse and operations teams.

About You Proven experience in procurement or purchasing. Confident negotiator with strong commercial awareness. Professional, articulate and an excellent communicator. Highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented. Able to work independently, take ownership and manage competing priorities. Confident using Microsoft Office, SAP and purchasing or ERP systems.

Experience with international suppliers and import-led supply chains would be advantageous.
