Import Freight Forwarder (Ocean) £28,000 - £32,000  Company Benefits  Progression  Company Bonus  Monday-Friday Basildon - Office Based Are you a Freight Forwarder with experience in Ocean Imports, looking to join a global logistics business offering career progression and a company bonus to increase your earnings, while managing international shipments, customs entries and customer relationships? This established global freight forwarding and logistics business provides international transport and supply chain solutions to customers worldwide.

Operating across numerous countries, they offer a broad range of freight services and are looking to strengthen their operations team in Basildon with an experienced Ocean Import Forwarder. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end Ocean Import process, coordinating shipments, completing customs entries, arranging deliveries and ensuring all documentation and milestone updates are completed accurately and on time. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams, handling queries, managing costs and invoicing, while ensuring compliance with strict operational procedures and industry regulations.

This role would suit a Freight Forwarder or similar with Ocean Import experience, looking to join an established international logistics business benefit ting from a company bonus.

The Role:

Manage end-to-end Ocean Import forwarding activities Coordinate shipments, clearances and deliveries Complete customs entries, job costing and invoicing Maintain accurate shipment records Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries Monitor costs and support month-end compliance activities Ensure compliance with HMRC, GDP, IATA, CAA and relevant security regulations

The Person :
Experience in Freight Forwarding or Freight Operations Experience handling Ocean Imports Knowledge of customs procedures and documentation Commutable to Basildon Reference: BBBH
