Are you looking for a hands-on, process-driven role where you'll be part of a team supporting a nationwide retail rollout? This is a short-term contract offering practical, structured work within a warehouse environment, involving equipment preparation, stock handling, and order dispatch, with full training provided and only basic computer skills required.

My client is a leading services provider supporting technology installations across major retail stores. They are now seeking an individual to join the Phone Configuration project team based in Milton Keynes for a 6-week contract.

This role is ideal for someone who lives a commutable distance from Milton Keynes who is reliable, detail-focused and able to follow clear processes.

Receive, scan, and record incoming stock within the asset-tracking system, decanting items from pallets and moving them to workstations as required. Prepare and configure devices by unpacking IP phones, connecting them to the network, applying firmware updates, and repackaging them in original packaging.

Maintain accurate asset records in Excel, including MAC address allocation to specific stores and in-store locations

Pick, pack, label, and palletise store-specific device batches, preparing them for engineer collection and dispatch

This role is based mainly out of their site in Milton Keynes but you will be required to visit a nearby storage unit where the phones will be stored ready for the field engineers

8am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Start date estimated 5th January, project length : 6 weeks
