Air conditioning Supervisor

Location:

Based in the Home Counties / Hertfordshire ( some national travel when visiting engineers )
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000

Hours:

40-hour week | 8:30am – 4:30pm (paid lunch included)
On-call: 1 in 6
Travel Time:
Paid after first 30 minutes each side

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer Supervisor to join our team. You will be working across a varied client base of commercial sites.

The Role

This is a hands-on supervisory position, combining technical expertise with leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems
Work on VRV/VRF systems, split systems, AHUs, and chillers
Attend and manage sites including student accommodation, councils, offices, care homes and gyms
Work closely with the Operations Manager
Supervise and coordinate air conditioning technicians and daily site operations
Ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance with health & safety regulations
Carry out audits across the country with engineers
Visiting the main office around 3 times a month
Diagnose complex technical issues and support field engineers
Manage tools, equipment, and stock inventory
Carry out safety checks and enforce company procedures
Maintain strong customer relationships and provide excellent service  Essential Qualifications & Experience
 
FGAS certification (or equivalent)
Minimum 8 years’ industry experience
Full UK driving licence  Package & Benefits

Full-time, permanent position

Working hours:

8:30am – 4:30pm, including:
30 minutes unpaid either side of shift
½-hour paid lunch break
