Labourer​/Driver

Overview

Our nationwide Plant and Tool division hires a range of equipment including diggers, dumpers and small tools to our customers across the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors.

• Keep the workshop and yard areas clean and tidy and free of hazards.
• Ensure tools are stored correctly.
• Pressure clean and refuel plant equipment before it leaves the depot and update fuel logs accurately.
• Load, deliver and collect hire equipment to customer sites in a timely and professional manner.
• Carry out hire equipment demonstrations and complete all relevant checks and administration for the hire.

• Previous experience working in a labourer role, preferably within a hire depot/yard environment.
• Strong team player willing to support colleagues with additional tasks when required.
• Ability to work to own initiative in a fast‑paced depot environment with high attention to detail.
• Full driving licence is essential and a CSCS card and forklift licence are preferable.
