Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team in the role of Store Person. This position involves working within a warehouse environment, supporting various operational functions including checking in and receiving stock. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring efficient flow of goods contributing to the overall productivity of the store.

Prior experience as a warehouse operator is highly desirable, along with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Responsibilities Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. We can provide training for the right candidate. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation according to company standards. Check in deliveries and received intact.

Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements accurately. Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to health and safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and resolve operational issues promptly. Conduct routine inspections of equipment, reporting any mechanical issues for repair or maintenance. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or related fields is desirable.

Valid forklift licence or certification is desirable. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred. Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment maintenance is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Physical fitness to stand for long periods and perform manual handling tasks as required.
