Grounds Maintenance Worker

Our client, a well-established organisation within Sports and Leisure industry, based in Gloucester, has an exciting new opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Worker to join their team on a full time, temp to permanent basis. The successful Grounds Maintenance Worker should have:
· A full clean driving licence
· Level 2 certificate in effective maintenance of 3G pitches is advantageous, but training will be provided.
· Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with a positive attitude and team mentality.
· Strong organisational and administration skills. In this role, the Grounds Maintenance Worker will be responsible for:
· Maintain and monitor the 3G pitch to industry standards, carrying out scheduled maintenance and daily inspections.
· Liaise with coaches and specialist contractors to ensure the pitch is prepared for training and match days.
· Inspect, maintain and manage equipment, ensuring it is safe, operational and available when needed.
· Support the wider maintenance team with site upkeep, opening the stadium each day, and responding to on site issues and emergencies.
· Follow all health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues and visitors. Our client is offering the successful Grounds Maintenance Worker an hourly rate of £13.60 plus benefits including holiday allowance, employee discounts, gym membership, on site parking and more.
