Simply Education are working with a friendly and welcoming primary school who are seeking a dedicated Caretaker / Cleaner to help maintain a safe, clean, and well-presented environment for pupils and staff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a school community.

• Carrying out general cleaning duties across classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the school
• Supporting with basic site maintenance and upkeep
• Opening and/or locking the school site where required
• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
• Assisting with setting up rooms for school activities or events

• Previous cleaning or caretaking experience is desirable but not essential
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• A proactive and reliable approach
• Understanding of health and safety procedures
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
