About the Role

We're seeking a PMO Manager to play a pivotal role in building, shaping, and embedding a brand‑new PMO function. This is a hands‑on position suited to an experienced PMO professional who can balance strategic thinking with operational excellence.

You will partner closely with senior stakeholders, programme leads, and transformation teams to establish best‑practice governance, streamline delivery frameworks, and ensure effective oversight across a portfolio of digital change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and embed a new PMO function from the ground up, establishing frameworks, processes, and standards
  • Develop project and programme governance
    , including reporting structures, RAID management, and quality controls
  • Define and implement delivery methodologies suitable for digital transformation programmes (e.g., Agile, hybrid)
  • Provide strategic support to the PMO Director across planning, prioritisation, resource management, and portfolio performance
  • Support programme and project managers in following best‑practice processes and improving delivery consistency
  • Create and maintain portfolio‑level dashboards & insights
    , ensuring leadership has clear visibility of progress, risks, dependencies, and financials
  • Champion continuous improvement
    , identifying opportunities to streamline PMO operations and enhance delivery capability
About You
  • Proven experience as a PMO Manager / PMO Analyst / Portfolio PMO
  • Background supporting digital transformation programmes or enterprise‑wide change
  • Experience establishing or significantly maturing PMO functions or frameworks
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders
  • Strong grasp of project governance, portfolio reporting, and PMO best practice
  • Able to work strategically while remaining adaptable and hands‑on
  • Comfortable operating in complex, fast‑paced environments undergoing change
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to present clear, actionable insights
