Are you a Design Manager, Head of Design, or similar from a Structural Steel background looking for a senior position where you can enable the next stage of growth in a role that grants responsibility, autonomy and recognition for your achievements?

In this role you will report to the Directors and be ultimately responsible for ensuring designs are completed in a timely manner while leading a small team of three Design Engineers. You will work with in‑house project managers and main contractors on a variety of projects within the Residential, Logistics and Commercial sectors.

Our company has doubled its turnover in the last two years and is on track to do the same. We provide a unique turn‑key solution to Structural Steel with the ability to fabricate, design, manage projects and complete site installation. We work with main contractors such as Vinci, Galliford Try and Berkeley Group.

• Managing a small team of Design Engineers and 3D CAD Designers
• Ensuring deadlines are hit and projects are on time
• Checking design work and providing training & guidance to the team
• Liaising with internal Project Manager and Blue‑Client end clients
• Monday – Friday, office‑based, 8:30 am – 5 pm (4 pm finish on Friday)

• Design Manager or similar
• Structural Steel background
• Knowledge of Advanced Steel or Tekla

• Design Manager experience in Structural Steel
