We are seeking a Design Manager or Head of Design with a structural steel background to lead a small team of Design Engineers and 3D CAD Designers. You will report to the Directors and ensure designs are completed on time while coordinating with in‑house project managers and main contractors across residential, logistics and commercial projects.

The company has doubled its turnover in two years and provides a unique turnkey solution to structural steel, including fabrication, design, project management and site installation. We collaborate with main contractors such as Vinci, Galliford Try and Berkeley Group.

• Managing a small team of Design Engineers and 3D CAD Designers
• Ensuring deadlines are hit and projects are on time
• Checking design work and providing training & guidance to the team
• liaising with internal Project Manager and external client end clients
• Monday – Friday, Office based, 8:30am – 5pm (4pm finish on Friday)

• Design Manager or similar
• Structural Steel background
• Knowledge of Advanced Steel or Tekla
