We are working with one of our established engineering clients based in Milton Keynes who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This is a hands-on, end-to-end project role managing a varied portfolio ranging from smaller £5k works through to complex £1m+ programmes running over several years. You will take full ownership from initial planning through to final delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Therole
- Managing projects through the full lifecycle
- Acting as the central point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders
- Coordinating design, manufacturing and commercial teams
- Planning and organising resources effectively
- Monitoring progress, managing risk and implementing corrective actions
- Controlling budgets and ensuring commercial performance
- Producing and maintaining project documentation including plans, trackers and technical documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement across project management processes
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within a technical or engineering environment
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with customers and senior stakeholders
- Commercially aware with experience managing project budgets
- Formal Project Management qualification required, PRINCE2, PMI or similar advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Project
- Full UK driving licence
Due to the nature of some projects, candidates must be able to pass BPSS clearance and must hold a British passport or dual British nationality.
