Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Sewing Machinist to join our production team. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role requiring previous experience operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality products to exact specifications. The successful candidate will work both independently and as part of a team to meet production targets and company KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality sewn products in line with specifications

* Follow written work instructions accurately to ensure consistency and precision

* Produce sets of products aligned with individual performance standards and company KPIs

* Carry out quality inspections on completed items

* Minimise waste and use materials efficiently

* Perform daily pre-use checks and basic maintenance on sewing machines

Team & Operational Responsibilities

* Work collaboratively with the team to support continuous improvement initiatives

* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and equipment care within the department

* Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times

* Communicate effectively with colleagues and management

* Maintain professional standards of conduct, appearance, and behaviour

* Participate in stock takes when required

* Undertake additional reasonable duties as requested by management

Required Skills & Experience

* Previous industrial sewing machine experience (essential)

* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to follow written instructions accurately

* Fluent in English

* Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
