Excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist to join an innovative company during an exciting period of growth. The role involves producing high‑precision components for world‑leading research projects and manufacturing scaled models for aerodynamic testing in an industry leading facility. The company is one of the only facilities in the world specialising in this niche field and is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Operator to play a key part in the ongoing success and development of their globally recognised operation.

The day‑to‑day responsibilities of this role include:

• Programming, setting, and operating 3​‑, 4​‑, and 5‑axis CNC milling machines
• Working from detailed engineering drawings and applying GD&T principles
• Operating multiple machines as required to meet production schedules
• Mon‑Fri, days‑based (38 hours per week)

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience as a CNC Machinist with 3‑ and 5‑axis operations
• Be skilled in CNC set‑up, tooling, and workpiece preparation
• Hold an HNC/HND, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification/apprenticeship in CNC machining
• Possess experience with Heidenhain controls (training available)
• Have a high level of attention to detail and a strong understanding of machining processes
