Job Summary
The Process Engineer is responsible for analysing, designing, and improving operational processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost performance. The role works closely with Operations, Planning, Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams to identify process improvement opportunities, implement solutions, and drive operational excellence across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Process Improvement:
Analyze existing operational processes and workflows, identify inefficiencies, develop and implement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve service levels; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions; support continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other methodologies; create and maintain SOPs and process documentation. - Data Analysis & Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data, develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs, use data‑driven insights to recommend improvements and cost‑saving initiatives, conduct time studies, workflow analysis, capacity planning assessments. - Project Management:
Lead and support process improvement and operational excellence projects, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, manage timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communications, support business expansion, automation and system implementation projects. - Quality & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company standards, health and safety requirements, and regulatory obligations; participate in audits and support implementation of quality management and continuous improvement frameworks. - Training & Stakeholder Management:
Train employees and managers on new processes and best practices; work closely with Operations, HR, Finance, IT and external vendors to drive process improvements; provide ongoing support during process changes.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
- Experience in process engineering, operational excellence, continuous improvement, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools.
- Experience mapping processes and implementing operational improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Desirable:
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent qualification. - Experience with in logistics, warehousing, e‑commerce, manufacturing or supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of WMS, ERP, LMS or operational management systems.
- Experience using Power BI, SQL or other business intelligence tools.
