Production Operative - MCU Assembly

Joining a growing manufacturing team, the Production Operative – MCU Assembly will support the assembly of high‑performance electronic products used across advanced engineering sectors. This is a hands‑on role requiring precision, consistency and a strong focus on quality while working with sensitive components in a controlled production environment.

• Assembling mechanical and electrical components in line with work instructions, engineering specifications and production requirements
• Operating assembly equipment and hand tools, including torque‑controlled tools and presses
• Carrying out in‑process quality inspections, visual checks and testing activities
• Completing production records, quality documentation and traceability requirements accurately
• Identifying and managing non‑conforming materials in accordance with established procedures
• Supporting continuous improvement activities and maintaining high standards of workplace organisation through 5S principles

• Experience working within a fast‑paced manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to follow electronic or on‑screen work instructions accurately and consistently
• Experience using production hand tools and assembly equipment
• Aware of ESD controls and the requirements of working with sensitive components
• Good component recognition and understanding of handling requirements for precision parts
• Strong attention to detail with a quality‑focused approach to work
