Final Assembly & Moulding Manager

We are a manufacturing company in Milton Keynes, who craft flexible fuel tanks for many industries. This includes motor sport, automotive, marine, aerospace, defence and aviation, to name a few! We are the leading manufacturer in our field and exclusively supply all of the teams on the Formula 1 grid.

We work with some world-famous brands and craft a safety product, meaning quality is of the utmost importance to us.

As Final Assembly & Moulding Manager, you are responsible for due-date accomplishment across both departments and expected to assist the Planning team with the most effective scheduling of all work.

Main Duties:

• Provide manufacturing feedback to the Design team on all new designs
• Monitor all prototype jobs through the department ensuring all relevant feedback is given promptly and process information is recorded
• Work with the Quality department to ensure all requirements are met for all projects
• Assist the Quality department in dealing with all NCR’s
• Providing estimated timings for all prototype jobs through the Schedule Request process
• Monitor departmental KPI’s, be proactive in their development and react to data provided
• Oversee consumable purchasing for the departments
• Ensure correct stock levels for parts with stock held in the department within ERP system
• Ensure that all Works Orders are managed effectively, liaising with the Stores Manager to manage priorities of components feeding the departments
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, coaching and guiding relevant staff to deliver ongoing continual improvement
• Manage preventative maintenance throughout the departments
• Monitor and maintain training logs / versatility charts for all staff within the team

You may be required to complete other tasks, as required by the business.

• Salary £40,000-£55,000 per annum
