Insight Employment are currently recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of a leading bakery in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established food manufacturing business producing a range of bread and bakery products.

This is a full-time position with immediate starts available and full induction training provided.

The Role

As a Production Operative, you will be working on a busy food production line within a bakery environment, helping to produce and package bread and buns to the highest quality standards.

This is a light-duty role but requires individuals who can work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Working on a food production line producing bakery products.

* Ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.

* Monitoring and maintaining high levels of food hygiene and safety.

* Supporting the smooth running of the production process.

* Carrying out quality checks on products.

* Keeping work areas clean and organised.

* Working closely with colleagues to achieve daily production goals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

* Previous experience within a food production or manufacturing environment.

* The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced setting.

* Good verbal and written communication skills.

* A flexible, reliable, and punctual approach to work.

* A strong awareness of personal hygiene standards.

* The ability to work well as part of a team.

* A willingness to work in chilled production areas when required.

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a rotating continental shift pattern. Applicants must be able to work both day and night shifts.

Day Shift

* 06:00 - 18:00

* 4 days on, 4 days off

* 3 days on, 3 days off

Night Shift

* 18:00 - 06:00

* 4 days on, 4 days off

* 3 days on, 3 days off

Rotation:

* 2 weeks on days

* 2 weeks on nights

Pay Rates

* Day

Shift: £12.80 per hour

* Night

Shift: £16.00 per hour
