Brand Communications Manager - Part time

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Marketing Team are recruiting for a Brand Communications Manager on a part-time (23.5 hours across 4 days) permanent basis reporting into our Brand Marketing Manager. The position is based in Milton Keynes but some occasional travel to London will be required.

You will be responsible for developing, crafting and implementing award winning brand campaigns. This may be; launching a new car in the UK, creating effective idents for our ITV Movies partnership, or building exciting new globally recognised platforms like Your Volkswagen.

You will need to manage and measure the deployment of these activities through the relevant media channels, as well as cascading to our Retailer partners. You will need to support these campaigns and optimise performance when live, as well as conduct robust post-campaign analysis.

• Of course, every day and week will be different, but here are some examples of what you can expect:
• Meeting with colleagues across the Volkswagen brand, including within the wider marketing department to build new and exciting campaigns across platforms.
• Meeting regularly with our media and creative agencies to plan, develop and launch new campaigns – This will be the majority of where you spend your time, so building strong relationships here will be key!
• Creative development and approvals across platforms such as; TV, OOH, Social, Audio and Digital.
• Calls and meetings with our colleagues in HQ (Wolfsburg) on topics of best practice, new initiatives, Global campaigns and sharing across other markets
• Working closely with our Marketing Project Executive to effectively manage our budget & invoice process
