Job Description About the Role

Are you passionate about social media, content creation and building engaged online communities? We’re looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Executive – Social Media Focus to take ownership of social media activity across the Autotech Group brands.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business and play a key role in increasing brand awareness, audience engagement and thought leadership across multiple platforms. You’ll work closely with our Marketing Director and wider marketing team to create impactful content, grow online communities and drive measurable results.

Key Responsibilities Social Media Strategy & Channel Management (Primary Focus)
  • Manage day-to-day activity across corporate social media channels, ensuring each platform is active, relevant and aligned to brand priorities.
  • Plan, create, schedule and publish platform-optimised content across Linked In, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube and emerging channels where appropriate.
  • Build audience growth, engagement and community across all Autotech Group brands through consistent posting, conversation management and proactive outreach.
  • Develop content pillars, campaign themes and channel plans that support brand awareness, recruitment, lead generation, events and thought leadership.
Community, Engagement & Reputation
  • Monitor comments, messages, mentions and conversations, responding appropriately or escalating where required.
  • Nurture online communities by encouraging discussion, sharing relevant updates and building relationships with followers, clients, candidates, partners and industry voices.
  • Support brand reputation by identifying social media risks, customer service issues or emerging conversations and escalating them promptly.
AI Authority, Content Innovation & Thought Leadership
  • Help build Autotech Group’s authority in AI by creating and sharing credible content around innovation, automation, digital transformation and the future of the automotive workforce.
  • Use AI tools responsibly to support content ideation, drafting, repurposing, trend research and workflow efficiency while maintaining brand tone and quality.
General Marketing Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support integrated campaigns across web, email, PR, events and social media.
  • Write, edit and proofread social copy, captions, campaign messages, blog snippets and promotional content.
  • Track performance using native platform insights and reporting tools, producing regular updates on growth, reach, engagement, traffic and campaign effectiveness.
  • Support paid social activity by preparing copy, creative briefs, audience ideas and performance learnings for campaign optimisation.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, algorithm changes, competitor activity and best practice.
What You’ll Bring

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a social media or digital content role.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms, content formats, scheduling tools, audience behaviour and engagement tactics.
  • Excellent copywriting, editing and communication skills with the ability to adapt tone of voice for different brands and platforms.
  • Confident community management skills, with sound judgement when responding, escalating or moderating online conversations.
  • Comfortable using analytics to review performance, identify insights and recommend improvements.
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience using AI tools to support content creation, research, optimisation or social listening.
  • Experience creating short-form video, reels, stories or social-first visual content.
  • Understanding of paid social campaigns, influencer collaboration, SEO for social discovery or employee advocacy programmes.
