Salary: £55,000–£65,000 DOE + bonus (higher for certificate holders/AVPs).

About The Role
This is an experienced vet role in a practice that genuinely cares about people, patients and quality. We are building a new mezzanine extension (July 2025) with a dedicated dental suite, imaging room and CT, adding 7 consult rooms and 3 theatres to match our clinical ambition.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload confidently and take on interesting work‑ups.

• Collaborate closely across surgery, imaging, medicine and ECC.

• Develop subspecialty interests (certificate study) and contribute to clinical meetings and audits.

• Mentor junior vets if desired.

• Discuss a path to partnership (subject to fit and timing).

Qualities & Qualifications

• 5+ years post‑grad small animal experience.

• Comfortable with routine surgical (ST) and imaging; able to triage advanced cases.

• Growth mindset, keen to mentor and raise standards.

• Working towards or holding a relevant certificate (surgery, imaging, medicine, ECC, dentistry).

Rota & Ways of Working

• 4‑day week with a generally fixed day off.

• 1:4 weekends; no nights, no on‑call (OOH and inpatients covered by Vets Now).

Rewards & Benefits
• £55,000–£65,000 base (DOE), certificate holders/AVPs get additional pay uplift.
