Willen Lake is managed by The Parks Trust, an independent charity, that cares for over 6,000 acres of parkland and green space in Milton Keynes. Our aim is to provide beautiful, diverse and sustainable parks, lakes, woods and landscapes that will be loved by the people of Milton Keynes, forever.

Position

Location: Willen Lake, V10 Brickhill Street, Milton Keynes, MK15 ODS

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Hours: Zero-hour agreement

We are looking for Treetop Extreme Instructors to join our team and to play a key role in the operation of our popular high ropes course.

As part of this role, you will deliver safety briefs and kit ups to ensure all visitors have a safe and memorable experience, as well as managing the flow of the course, providing guidance and assistance where required. You will also, subject to additional training, deliver target sport activities including introductory Archery and Axe Throwing sessions.

This role operates on a seven-day rota, with varied shift patterns scheduled between the hours of 8am-8pm. Instructors can expect to work a mixture of weekdays, weekends, bank holidays and school holidays in line with business needs.

Requirements

This role requires confidence working at height, excellent safety awareness, and strong communication and customer service skills. Previous experience in high ropes, climbing or target sport instruction is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

High ropes, climbing, target sport or industrial ropes access experience and/or qualifications.
