Quality Manager

The Quality Manager position in Milton Keynes, offered by Executive Network Group, carries a full-time contract and a salary between £58,000 and £62,000.

This role sits within a large engineering manufacturer delivering project solutions across varied sectors.

You will lead a team of quality professionals, acting as the primary contact for customer concerns.

Responsibilities include instigating 8D problem-solving activities, delegating tasks, auditing systems to ISO
9001, and using defect data to enhance processes.

The position balances daily production support with involvement in strategic initiatives, requiring a professional able to manage immediate issues while contributing to longer-term quality improvements.

Our client is a specialist engineering and manufacturing business supplying full service project solutions for a broad range of industry sectors.

• Lead a team of Quality professionals in a high volume manufacturing environment
• First point of contact for all external and internal customer concerns
• Instigation of 8D activity following customer concern and delegation of work to team thereafter
• Audit systems and processes to ISO
  9001 standard
• Utilise data of quality defects to improve quality processes
• Identify area for quality improvements
• Utilisation of six sigma/ lean tools to increase efficiencies and improve site quality
• Maintain and develop the QMS and quality structure

You will already be a competent Quality professional with proven management experience within a high volume manufacturing environment.

• HNC/ Degree in a technical subject or equivalent professional level qualification
• Excellent knowledge of quality systems with particular focus on ISO
  9001
• Strong communicator internally and in liaison with demanding customers
• Strong understanding of Route Cause Analysis and structured problem solving tools - 8D, MSA, 5
