Catering Assistant

Location: Milton Keynes, MK9
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (30-minute unpaid break)
Contract: Ongoing
Start Date: Monday 19th October 2026

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Catering Assistant to join our team at a café in Milton Keynes.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a café environment, supporting the kitchen team, and providing friendly service to customers.

• Assisting the Head Chef with basic food preparation.
• Washing up and keeping kitchen equipment clean.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the café.
• Supporting food service and serving customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Keeping work areas tidy, organised, and safe.
• Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures.

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required.
• Previous experience in a café, catering, or kitchen environment is desirable but not essential.

• Monday to Thursday
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 30-minute unpaid break
• 30 working hours per week
