F&B Senior Supervisor

Work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager and the Wedding co-ordinators. Responsible for managing co-workers and all activities involved with running the weddings, events and day to day running of the business while maintaining excellence in quality standards and guest relations.

• Manages all aspects of the wedding/event on the day and co-ordinate to achieve qualitative/quantitative goals and ensure client satisfaction.
• To work closely with the Wedding Coordinator/Events team to ensure that events are delivered to the expected standards.
• Take responsibility for delivering menu tastings prior to the event to ensure customer satisfaction throughout all aspects of pre-wedding service.
• To attend final meetings alongside the Wedding Coordinator to make sure all area are covered and will be up to operational standards.
• To take control of preparing all aspects of the wedding/event set up to ensure smooth turnarounds for functions.
• Running double function nights, managing staff members. Managing all food and beverage service outlets, which may include bar, restaurant, kitchen, driving range & refreshments buggy.
• Process orders though ESP/check order system and serve as appropriate.
• Effectively up sell other items on the menu
• Working alongside the F&B management team, Helping with ordering stock.
• Maintains effective inventory and shortage controls
• Supports all Food & Beverage co-workers, including training and developing individuals within the team.
• Ensures that co-workers meet all standards for performance, appearance and service provision, determines assignments and division of responsibilities.
• Maintains existing food & beverage programmes and develops new concepts/strategies that ensure the highest possible quality of food service to meet guest expectations and assure repeat business.
• Ensures that company standards for service and quality are met.
• Works in conjunction with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintains knowledge of local competition and general industry trends and feedback to management.

• To implement and support all company initiatives and programmes as requested.

• Experience of managing a team.
• Knowledge of food & beverage service.
• Experience in running functions/events at a private venue
• Good time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
