Field based with UK travel as required – regular trips to the head office in Buckingham
Purpose of the RoleTo drive profitable growth of QIC Trims' partitioning division by developing existing customer relationships, winning new business, managing key accounts and leading the partitioning sales strategy. The role will focus on glass partitioning systems, doors and associated products supplied to fit-out contractors, partitioning specialists, distributors and end users.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver agreed sales, gross margin and new business targets.
- Develop and implement a sales plan for the partitioning division.
- Identify and secure new customers across the commercial interiors sector.
- Increase sales of partitioning systems, doors and related products.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key customers.
- Conduct regular customer visits and project reviews.
- Identify opportunities to increase spend from existing accounts.
- Manage customer issues and ensure high levels of service.
- Work with architects, designers, contractors and end users to secure specifications.
- Track projects from enquiry through to order.
- Support customers with technical and commercial proposals.
- Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities within the CRM system.
- Support and develop internal sales and estimating colleagues.
- Provide product and market knowledge across the business.
- Promote a positive, customer-focused sales culture.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements.
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
- Manage sales activity in line with company procedures.
- Gross profit.

- Project specification wins.
- Proven B2B sales experience within partitioning, interiors, construction products or a related sector.
- Track record of achieving sales growth and winning new business.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing key accounts.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience selling glass partitioning systems.
- Experience selling commercial doors.
- Knowledge of the fit-out and interior construction market.
- Experience using CRM systems such as Pipedrive or Super Office.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Strong relationship builder.
- Commercially aware.
- Organised and disciplined.
- Positive and resilient.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bonus linked to sales and gross profit performance.
