Our Client is one of the most iconic and well‑known leading Motorcycle manufacturers in the World. Creating modern classics with a healthy order book, we are supporting them with the recruitment of an experienced Sales Administrator on a 9‑Month fixed‑term basis to cover a period of maternity leave.

Reporting to the UK Logistics Co‑ordinator, the Sales Administrator will play a pivotal role as the main point of contact for all Dealers in the UK for the sales department. The role requires exemplary understanding of the order processing system to train dealers and staff, develop and manage manual order systems when necessary, and act as the main liaison for credit enquiries, DVLA and inter‑dealer transfers, along with coordinating warehousing and logistics.

On offer to the successful candidate is £35K pa (Pro‑Rata) together with a full and comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities include all aspects of motorcycle, accessories and apparel sales administration: vehicle registration, collecting and reconciling payments, and assisting in the activation of customer finance agreements with the finance team. Customer liaison plays a large part in this role, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for customers from start to finish, whilst ensuring all vehicles are progressed from order to delivery correctly and efficiently and that systems are updated accordingly.

Excellent communication, numeracy and computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP and Google) are essential, along with an organised, efficient and proactive approach with attention to detail.

  • Receive and process all manual sales orders.
  • Oversee the sales ordering system.
  • Handle all credit queries and liaise with wholesale finance provider.
  • Manage and apply new product order allocations.
  • Train staff and new dealers in the sales ordering systems.
  • Process or modify manual orders based on backorders or credit held.
  • Coordinate with logistics.
  • Handle DVLA – VIN release and inter‑dealer transfer.
  • Support UK trade shows and events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of GCSE English and Maths (pleasing relevant experience will also be considered).
  • Experienced Sales Administrator with excellent customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring all paperwork is submitted securely and accurately.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team, engaging with key stakeholders and customers to encourage smooth service.

It’s great if you also have the following:

  • Motor Trade, Automotive or Car Dealership experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Previous experience of Vehicle Sales Administration (advantageous but not essential).
  • An interest in or knowledge of Motorcycles.
