About This Role
Are you an experienced Sales Manager, Regional Sales Leader or Commercial Manager within the municipal, waste or fleet sectors? Our opportunity for a Sales Manager, Municipal & Waste Solutions offers the chance to lead a specialist sales function, driving regional growth, developing high‑performing sales teams and influencing the future direction of our municipal and refuse collection vehicle business. This is a leadership role with accountability for revenue growth, fleet utilisation and commercial performance across multiple territories.
You will lead Area Sales Managers and Business Development Managers while developing strategic relationships with local authorities, waste operators and key industry stakeholders.
- Provide leadership, coaching and development to regional sales teams operating within the municipal and waste sectors.
- Deliver regional revenue, utilisation and growth targets through effective sales management.
- Lead sales strategy, forecasting, pipeline management and commercial performance across multiple territories.
- Support major tender opportunities, procurement exercises and strategic customer negotiations.
- Influence the continued growth of Dawsongroup EMC's contract hire, waste and municipal fleet solutions.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing field‑based sales teams.
- Strong understanding of local authority procurement and tender processes.
- Experience delivering revenue growth, utilisation targets and commercial performance.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders, customers and strategic partners.
- Established relationships within waste management, municipal services or associated sectors would be advantageous.
- Over 50 years of expertise within the asset rental and contract hire industry.
- Market‑leading solutions across municipal, environmental and specialist fleet sectors.
