Overview
As a Territory Sales Representative you will be responsible for identifying, developing and converting sales opportunities within advanced engineering sectors, including automotive, off-highway, aerospace, EV and HEV, heavy automotive, rail, robotics and marine. Travel to Europe will be required.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities for MASTA software within the assigned territory and target sectors.
- Generate and qualify leads through prospecting, networking, market research and industry events.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to proposal, negotiation and close.
- Build strong relationships with engineering, R&D, procurement and commercial decision-makers.
- Deliver sales presentations and coordinate software demonstrations with technical teams where required.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates and customer activity.
- Prepare and coordinate quotations, proposals and commercial documentation.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports and territory updates.
- Follow up on quotations and opportunities to improve conversion rates.
- Share market feedback, competitor insight and customer intelligence to support commercial planning.
- Work closely with marketing, technical, finance to support customer opportunities and order processing.
- Represent the business at trade shows, customer forums and customer meetings across the UK and Europe.
- Fluent Italian and English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within engineering software, technical solutions or industrial markets.
- Strong new business development experience in a target-driven sales environment.
- Ability to engage confidently with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Experience managing complex or longer sales cycles.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially aware, proactive and resilient, with a results-focused approach.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales records.
- Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe as required.
- Experience in CAE, simulation, drivetrain, automotive, aerospace, rail, robotics, marine or EV/HEV markets would be advantageous.
