In this dynamic role, you’ll carry out a variety of duties including patrols, alarm responses, locks and unlocks, vacant property inspections, escort services, and additional mobile tasks as directed. Every day, you’ll play a vital part in protecting people, property, and assets while upholding our core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness

As a Mobile Patrol Officer, you’ll maintain a professional and helpful presence, ensuring an excellent client experience at all times. You’ll follow clear instructions from Team Leaders, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and consistently demonstrate the highest standards of conduct. With responsibility for both uniform compliance and vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift, you’ll help ensure a safe, secure, and well‑managed service for every client you support.

Job Description

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Deliver a range of mobile security services including locks, unlocks, internal and external patrols, alarm responses, vacant property inspections and escort services
• Maintain a professional, polite and helpful attitude towards clients, their staff and Securitas colleagues at all times
• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring the security of the company vehicle and equipment
• Follow proper escalation processes for incidents, break‑ins, health and safety issues and road traffic accidents
• Escalated incidents, risks or breakdowns and RTAs to the Team Leader, reporting RTAs in line with company policy
• Adhere to correct key management processes when handling keys
• Follow site assignment instructions and conduct dynamic risk assessments upon arrival at client sites

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• A valid SIA licence
• Full UK driving licence
• 1+ year security experience
• Able to work nights
• Have a strong understanding of security protocols
• Confidence working independently and as part of a team
• Punctual and reliable
• Great attention to detail
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
