-12hr shift, Days & Nights rotating pattern of 4 on 4 off

As a GSOC Response Specialist at Securitas, you’ll be at the centre of our 24/7 global security network – the team responsible for identifying emerging risks, coordinating real‑time responses and supporting clients through their most critical moments. You’ll manage fast‑moving incidents and provide calm, confident guidance when it matters most.

Responsibilities Incident Monitoring & Response
  • 24/7 monitoring of critical event management platforms, security incidents, alerts and intelligence products
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during active security incidents and emergencies
  • Triage and coordinate responses to a range of incidents including employee emergencies, critical events and crisis and incident scenarios
  • Manage the full incident lifecycle through escalation, coordination, resolution and post incident review
Client & Stakeholder Communication
  • Liaise professionally with clients, on site and on the ground security teams, and third-party providers to facilitate effective crisis responses
  • Communicate timely, accurate incident notifications and updates to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Use Mass Communications tools to ensure timely and appropriate escalation to critical events and crises
  • Maintain professionalism and empathy when engaging with individuals in distressing or sensitive circumstances
Case Management & Investigation
  • Manage all incoming GSOC communications (calls, emails) within agreed Service Levels
  • Open, manage and close incident cases accurately, ensuring full data integrity throughout
  • Adhere to client-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and escalation protocols at all times
Reporting
  • Prepare and deliver incident reports, post event summaries and monthly operational reports to clients by agreed deadlines
  • Support the development, ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of client SOPs, escalation protocols and response playbooks
  • Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the Securitas.
What you'll need to bring Essential
  • 2–5 years’ experience in a GSOC, security operations centre, emergency response or similar environment
  • Experience managing crisis or emergency incidents (corporate, military or policing preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience producing incident reports and working in a client‑facing capacity
  • Understanding of crisis/incident management frameworks
  • Confident using (or quickly learning) incident management, mass comms or operational tech platforms
  • Willingness to work rotating 24/7 shifts
Desirable
  • Degree or qualification in Security Management, Emergency Management, Risk or similar
  • Additional language skills
  • Interest in global events and geopolitical developments
  • Exposure to travel security, duty of care or protective services
  • Experience working with multinational clients
  • Relevant industry certifications (CPP, PSP or equivalent)
