We are currently recruiting Police Officers for:

About the role

As a Police Officer with British Transport Police, you will help keep millions of passengers, staff, and members of the public safe across the UK rail network. This is a role with genuine variety and purpose.

You are encouraged to attend an optional Q and A session to learn more about the role and recruitment process. These sessions are not mandatory.

Qualifications and restrictions
  • You have applied for a Police Officer, Special Constable or PCSO role and been unsuccessful within the last 3 months
  • You have failed BTP vetting in the last 12 months
  • You have received a custodial sentence, including suspended sentences
  • You have been dismissed from a police force or are under investigation
  • You have unmanaged financial issues such as bankruptcy, CCJ or IVA
  • You have tattoos deemed offensive. Facial or neck tattoos are assessed case by case
  • You do not have the right to live and work in the UK
  • You have not lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years

Requirements

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
