Position: Social Worker -  CIC Team
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and Social Worker to join our Child Protection Team in Wigston with Milton Keynes Council.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong practitioner with recent CIC and adoption experience looking for their next contract at a competitive rate.

Social Worker - CIC Team Pay Rate: £38 per hour (Umbrella)

Location:

Civic Centre, 1 Saxon Gate East, Central Milton Keynes, MK9 3EJ

About the Role:

As a Social Worker within the CIC Team, you will work with children and young people who are looked after, ensuring they receive the care, stability, and support they need to thrive.

Full details of the role are provided in the attached CIC information sheet.

Due to the nature of the role, there will be local travel required, with occasional longer-distance travel as needed.

About You:

To be considered for this position, you must:

Have recent experience working within a CIC-focused role (within the last five years).
Have experience working with Children in Care and adoption.
Be confident managing a caseload and delivering high-quality assessments and care planning.
Demonstrate strong partnership working skills with carers, families, and multi-agency professionals.
Hold a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent

* At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services

* Social Work England Registration

* Driving license and access to own vehicle
