Make a difference where it matters most This is a fantastic opportunity to join us as we embed our new Family Help and Multi-Agency Child Protection Teams, following the national Families First reforms. Every day, our colleagues work alongside children, young people and families to create lasting change, helping, supporting and safeguarding children through creative, relationship-based practice.
Whether your strengths lie in early intervention and family-led support, or child protection and safeguarding, we have opportunities across both services and, through a single application, you can tell us which area of practice interests you most. We're looking for dedicated practitioners who want to be part of a service that is shaping the future of children's social care. As we continue to develop our systemic approach to practice, you'll join a supportive organisation that is committed to achieving better outcomes for children, young people and families across Milton Keynes.
If you're ready to make a difference and help us deliver meaningful change, we'd love to hear from you. Through a single application, you can tell us which area of practice interests you most.
Our Family Help teams work with children, young people and families at the earliest opportunity, helping to reduce risk, build on strengths and create positive, sustainable change. We believe that families are often best placed to identify solutions when they receive the right support, and our practice is centred on building trusted relationships and strengthening family networks.
Multi-Agency Child Protection TeamsOur Multi-Agency Child Protection Teams support children who require statutory intervention, child protection planning, pre-proceedings and court work. These teams are focused on ensuring children are safe, protected and supported to achieve positive outcomes.
Site-Based roleThis is a Site-Based role, and you’ll be expected to work from the designated workplace. Interviews will be held on a rolling basis throughout the advertising period. Suitable candidates may be invited to interview as applications are received.
At Milton Keynes City Council, we aim to make a difference every day. We’re dedicated, respectful and collaborative. We act as one council, and we work hard to create cleaner, safer and healthier communities while tackling inequalities and supporting people to thrive.
