Senior Software Developer - Backend

My client is looking for a Senior Software Developer with backend experience including Golang and Java. This role you will be joining a growing Consultancy who work with Central Government departments on a range of projects.

Due to the environment this role requires current SC security clearance

• Demonstrable experience designing, coding and debugging Golang based systems
• Demonstrable experience working on Agile environments
• Demonstrable experience working on product development environments based on observation, experimentation and user research
• Demonstrable experience working in multi‑disciplinary/Dev Ops teams which include product owner/manager, UX designers, UX researchers, Developers, Platform engineers, etc
• Golang
• Java
• Spring Boot
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Atlassian
• Build tools:
  Maven, Gradle, Ant
• Familiar with source control systems, such as GIT, including branching, merging, etc
• Testing: TDD, unit testing, JUnit, Mockito, Cypress

• AWS
• Knowledge of Open Source BPMN workflow engines (Camunda, Activiti or Flowable)
• Experience on a front‑end java script framework such as react, angular or vue.js
• Red Hat Open Shift for container orchestration
