Software Engineering Manager

Salary: £75,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements

• Experience managing a team of 5+ software developers
• Background in web development, preferably PHP
• Experience leading cloud infrastructure projects, ideally with AWS or Azure
• Strong knowledge of software delivery best practices and SDLC
• Experience improving engineering processes and driving technical standards
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work closely with senior leadership
• Interest in AI-assisted software development and modern engineering practices

• Lead an engineering team of around 10 developers
• Shape technical direction for the development function

We are an established and growing software company in Milton Keynes, working four days a week in the office. This is a strategic, hands‑off Software Engineering Manager role where you will have genuine influence over technology strategy while helping us improve software delivery, cloud infrastructure and engineering standards.
