Salary: £60,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

Strong commercial experience in full-stack software development.
Experience designing and delivering complex software applications.
Strong development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Strong development experience with JavaScript or Type Script, with React preferred.
Experience designing, developing, and consuming APIs.
Knowledge of relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
Understanding of Dev Ops principles, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native development.
Experience with Docker and containerised environments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to delivery.
Eligibility to obtain UK SC Security Clearance; current SC Clearance is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop modern, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces.
Work with React, Type Script, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Deliver exceptional user experiences across multiple platforms and browsers.
Contribute to front‑end architecture and technical best practices.
Design and develop secure, scalable APIs and backend services.
Build robust server‑side applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Contribute to solution architecture, technical design, and system integration.
Ensure solutions are high‑performing, secure, and maintainable.
Design, maintain, and optimise relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
Develop efficient database structures and queries.
Ensure data integrity, resilience, and performance.
Support the development of data‑driven and AI‑enabled solutions.
Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git Hub Actions and Jenkins.
Support deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
Monitor, maintain, and improve platform reliability and performance.
Drive automation and Dev Ops best practices throughout the software lifecycle.
Conduct code reviews and champion engineering excellence.
Develop automated testing across unit, integration, and end‑to‑end frameworks.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, delivery teams, and stakeholders.
Produce and maintain clear technical documentation.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across projects and programmes.
