Senior Software Engineer (Java/Fullstack) UK wide – Occasional Travel Monthly
Currently working with a multinational professional services and technology organisation who are in search of Software Engineers (Java focused) to join their Data & Technology team within their Central Government sector to offer new bespoke solutions to solve customers complex operational problems.
What you’ll be doing as a Senior Software Engineer:- Full SDLC in Java.
- Delivering high quality incremental software releases.
- Participation in occasional client site integrations, demos, training and business development activities.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating research on alternative technologies, tools and methods.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Java Development.
- Familiarity with at least one framework, such as Spring or Hibernate.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, would be advantageous.
- You will have experience working with Agile environments to deliver software projects.
- For Senior positions you must demonstrate mentorship experience
.
- Company pension
Candidates MUST either hold active UK SC Clearance or be eligible for National Security Vetting
