HGV Driver

e are seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 (Category

C) HGV Driver to join our growing team. This role involves the safe and timely delivery of goods while providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and compliance.

Nights 8pm or 10pm Starts - 12 hours shifts paying £16.50ph

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 2 (Category

C) vehicle in accordance with all road traffic regulations and company procedures.
Complete multi-drop or scheduled deliveries and collections within designated routes.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
Complete all relevant paperwork, delivery notes, and electronic records accurately.
Adhere to driver hours, tachograph, and Working Time Directive regulations.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and clients.
Assist with loading and unloading vehicles where required.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and present a professional image at all times.
Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.

Essential Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Category

C) HGV Licence.
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph regulations.
Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Desirable Requirements

Previous Class 2 driving experience.
Experience in multi-drop deliveries.
Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
Knowledge of local and regional road networks.
