HGV Driver C+E

We are recruiting HGV C+E driver to work Nights - 18ph

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in accordance with all road traffic laws and company procedures.
Complete national and regional deliveries and collections.
Conduct daily vehicle walk around checks and report any defects.
Ensure loads are correctly secured and transported safely.
Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
Adhere to tachograph regulations, driver hours, and Working Time Directive requirements.
Maintain regular communication with the transport team regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Provide a professional and courteous service to customers and clients.
Ensure vehicles are kept clean, tidy, and roadworthy.
Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements

Valid  Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence .
Valid  Driver CPC Qualification Card .
Valid  Digital Tachograph Card .
Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph regulations.
Excellent knowledge of road safety and compliance requirements.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Desirable

Previous Class 1 driving experience.

Experience with curtain-sided trailers, refrigerated transport, or general haulage.
Flexibility to work occasional nights, weekends, or tramping shifts.
