HGV1 (CE) Day Driver £17.00 per hour | Overtime £22.50 per hour | Monday to Friday | Immediate Starts Available Pertemps Milton Keynes are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Day Drivers to support one of our valued clients with ongoing holiday cover requirements.

This role offers block weekly bookings, regular day shifts, minimal manual handling and immediate assessment opportunities.

The Role Monday to Friday Start times between 05:00 - 05:30 Average 8-9 hour shifts Delivering goods to trade and commercial sites Operating curtain-side vehicles Goods unloaded by FLT at delivery points Minimal handball involved Ongoing holiday cover with block bookings available Pay Rates £17.00 per hour £22.50 per hour overtime rate after 10 hours worked per day Weekly pay Requirements Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card Digital Tachograph Card 6-12 months Class 1 driving experience No more than 6 penalty points Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations Reliable and professional approach to work Assessments Available This Week Successful drivers can secure ongoing weekly bookings following a successful assessment.
