The Role

We are looking for experienced and professional HGV Class 2 Drivers to join the team at its Milton Keynes operation.

This is a Monday to Friday position, offering a competitive £40,000 annual salary, with optional overtime available for drivers looking to increase their earnings.

Drivers typically work around 45–50 hours per week, providing a consistent working pattern and regular UK-based work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out deliveries and collections safely and efficiently, representing the company professionally when dealing with customers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

* Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle in accordance with all relevant legislation and company procedures.

* Complete deliveries and collections across the UK safely, efficiently and on time.

* Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects or issues promptly.

* Ensure all loads are transported securely and safely.

* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic records.

* Comply fully with drivers’ hours, tachograph and Working Time Regulations.

* Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times.

* Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding deliveries, collections and any issues encountered on the road.

* Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and presentation.

* Follow all company health & safety procedures and operational processes.

* Represent the business positively when dealing with customers and members of the public.

About You

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of delivering a reliable and professional service.

Essential requirements:

* Minimum 2 years’ HGV Class 2 driving experience in the UK.

* Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category

C) licence.

* Valid Driver CPC qualification.

* Valid Digital Tachograph Card.

* Good understanding of UK drivers’ hours and road transport legislation.

* Good driving record and strong commitment to road safety.

* Reliable, punctual and professional approach.

* Good communication and customer service skills.

* Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with the transport team.
